What is NRI/IU Crypto-Asset Index Family ?

NRI/IU Crypto-Asset Index Family is a sophisticated crypto-asset data platform providing crypto-asset benchmark and reference prices for major crypto assets by Japanese Yen. Intelligence Unit established this platform with Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. (NRI) , CryptoCompare and MarketVector since February 2020 and has distributed to Japanese financial institutions.

Our index, NRI/IU Crypto-Asset Index Family, is designed to provide transparency and fair valuation for financial institutions and evaluation process is operated under European Benchmark Regulations. And NRI/IU Crypto-Asset Reference Price will contribute to the financial institutions developing crypto-asset related derivative products and crypto-asset exchanges evaluating the fair market prices of crypto-assets.

NRI/IU Crypt-Asset Index

In January 2020, we started to distribute our first index named NRI/IU Crypto-asset Index from NRI/IU Crypto-asset Index Family. The index offers a reliable reference point for evaluating performance by providing benchmarks constructed with a clear and transparent methodology. Designed for Japanese institutional investors and crypto-asset exchanges by considering the transparency, JPY and USD currency, custody solutions and official closing values in the Japanese time zone (JST).The NRI/IU Crypto-Asset Index is a market cap-weighted index with the coverage of major crypto-assets (BTC,ETH,XLM,BCH and LTC etc.).The NRI/IU Crypto-asset Index is currently distributed by major financial data vendors including Bloomberg, Refinitiv and QUICK.
